The Problem
Electricians shouldn't lose billable hours to paperwork they never signed up for.
You became an electrician to do electrical work. The licensing board, county permitting offices, and insurance carriers had other plans. Now you're spending evenings chasing renewal deadlines, re-submitting forms that came back incomplete, and wondering if your CE hours are logged correctly — hours that could be on the job, generating revenue.
Lost billable time
Permit filings, CE tracking, and renewal chasing routinely costs owner-operators 5 to 10 hours every week — time spent on administration, not jobs.
Missed deadlines & lapses
A lapsed license or expired certificate of insurance can halt work on a job site — and reactivating a license under penalty costs far more than staying current.
Jurisdiction complexity
Orange, Osceola, Seminole, Lake, and Polk counties each run different permit portals, form requirements, and review timelines. One generalist service rarely knows all five.
What We Handle
Every compliance task that pulls you off the job.

How It Works
A compliance partner that runs ahead of the deadline, not behind it.
Compliance intake call
We start with a focused call to map your current license status, active permits, upcoming renewal dates, and CE requirements. We document exactly where you stand before we touch anything.
Usually 20–30 minutes — we come prepared.
We audit your current compliance picture
Our team reviews your contractor license with DBPR, checks outstanding permits across every county you operate in, and identifies any gaps before they become deadlines missed.
You receive a written compliance snapshot.
Paperwork and filings handled for you
From that point forward, we file your permits, submit your renewal applications, coordinate your insurance documentation, and track your CE hours — without you having to ask.
Done-for-you, not software you have to manage.
Proactive monitoring — not reactive scrambling
VoltClear watches your compliance calendar and contacts you ahead of deadlines, not after. When something requires your signature or a payment, we prepare everything and tell you exactly what to do.
You stay on jobs. We watch the calendar.
Why VoltClear
The difference between managing compliance yourself and having it handled.
You log into the county portal, fill out the forms yourself, hope nothing gets rejected, and follow up when it stalls.
We file on your behalf across all five central Florida counties — and we monitor the status until approved.
You get a renewal notice (if you remember to watch for it), scramble to gather CE records, and submit at the last minute.
We track your expiration date, prepare the renewal package, confirm your CE hours are logged, and file before the deadline.
You keep paper certificates from past courses and hope they're all accounted for when the ECLB asks.
We verify each course is ECLB-approved, log your hours, and maintain an audit-ready record — no scrambling at renewal time.
You spend time gathering certificates of insurance from your broker, filling out county forms, and tracking down signatures.
We coordinate directly with what's needed, complete the required documentation, and get it submitted to the right parties.
General permit services use the same template for every county. When Orange County has different rules than Polk County, you get a rejection.
VoltClear works exclusively in central Florida. We know each county's specific forms, requirements, and reviewer preferences.

FAQ
Questions contractors ask before working with us.
If your question is not here, use the contact form and we will answer it directly.
Do I need to give VoltClear access to my license or accounts?
We work with what you provide us — your license number, renewal documents, permit details, and CE records. For permit filings we prepare the paperwork and submit it using our credentials as your authorized agent, or guide you through a simple one-time authorization with the county portal. You stay in control of your accounts.
What if I operate across multiple counties?
That is exactly what we are built for. VoltClear covers Orange, Osceola, Seminole, Lake, and Polk counties. We handle each county's specific portal, form requirements, and building department workflows — so you do not need a separate contact for each jurisdiction.
How is this different from just hiring a permit runner?
A permit runner files permits. VoltClear manages your entire compliance picture: license renewals, CE tracking, insurance documentation, and permit filings — proactively, across all your counties, with deadline monitoring built in. It is the difference between a filing service and a compliance partner.
What if a permit gets rejected or there is a problem with a filing?
We handle resubmissions and follow-up as part of the service. When a county has a question or returns a filing for corrections, we address it — you are not going back and forth with the building department on your own.
Is VoltClear only for large electrical contractors?
No. VoltClear is purpose-built for owner-operators and small electrical contractors with 1 to 10 employees — the business owners who are doing the work themselves and do not have an office manager to handle compliance paperwork.
